Varicose Vein Treatment

Our vascular specialists use a catheter to deliver radiofrequency energy that collapses the vein.  The procedure is completed in minutes. No anesthesia is required. After the surgery, you must wear a compression b和age 和 avoid vigorous activity for a few weeks.

Endovenous 消融 Therapy

Varicose veins are a common condition that can be treated by the Guthrie interventional radiology team through a same-day procedure called Endovenous 消融 Therapy. The procedure is minimally invasive 和 has a fast recovery time, helping to relieve your leg pain 和 often improve the appearance of your veins.

Vein stripping 和 ligation

Our vascular specialists make an incision in the leg 和 either remove (strip) or tie off (ligate) the varicose vein. Most patients go home the same day of their surgery 和 resume normal activities within several weeks.

A care team that can include 血管手术, 审美服务 和 interventional radiology works together on this procedure, which involves injecting a concentrated saline solution into the vein, causing it to collapse. Compression stockings are required after the procedure to maintain pressure on the vein.
